21st Century Skills Our Students Need » Moving at the Speed of Creativity

Here’s a video post from Wesley Fryer. This is interesting as it is framed as the views of an employer on what skills students will require to function in the economic space. As Universities are increasingly driven by these requirements it should be worth noting. Wesley picks up on Creating, Communicating and Collaborating – and doing this in an technology-rich environment.I certainly agree with Wesley’s general point. I do find it a little bit, err, American though – sorry! I detect a little bit of technology determinism. This is almost inevitable when you take a straight employability/economic approach but I do worry about that a bit. Technology is unlikely to be the solution to all our problems. Anyway, an interesting post that I recommend watching.
